Treat & Train
If you only ever buy one battery-operated device to use with your dog, this should be it. The Treat & Train is a remote-controlled training tool that delivers treats, either with the push of a button, or via a timer. We could sing its praises until we go hoarse! Use it to work on teaching your dog to be alone (you can trigger it from outside your front door), to get your dog comfortable in a crate (it can sit on top of the crate and drop food or treats from above), to work on duration behaviors, or simply to do some fun training without getting your hands dirty.Â
The Treat & Train comes with a lithium battery for the remote, two sizes of plates that can be swapped out depending on the size of the treats you’re putting into it, and a weighted “target” stick that can be used to teach a variety of things, many of which are outlined in the DVD, which also is included.Â
